About Chinese with Meggie
Chinese with Meggie is a Mandarin Chinese school and learning community based in Austin since 2006. We offer year-round Mandarin Chinese classes for kids and adults at our Hyde Park and Westlake locations, as well as annual Chinese summer camps in Austin and Beijing.
Our sister program, the Little Tiger Chinese Immersion School, is a full-day school serving preschool, kindergarten, and elementary children through fifth grade. For more info about these and other programs, please read on!
COVID-19 NOTICE: Please note that most Chinese with Meggie classes for students elementary and up remain in an online format.
Part-time programs for toddlers and pre-k students are now part of Little Tiger Chinese Immersion School. All toddler & pre-k classes are in-person and follow Little Tiger covid safety protocols.
2022 Austin Summer Program for Kids 3-10 Years Old
Summer 2022 is around the corner! Chinese with Meggie and Little Tiger Chinese Immersion School will offer a three-week summer program in Austin from mid-July to early-August. Kids will explore a series of themes using the Chinese language. To give you a sense of our past activities, please have a look at some videos from previous years.

Little Tiger Chinese Immersion School
In 2015, we launched the Little Tiger Chinese Immersion School, our full-day immersion school for children 18-months through fifth grade. All parts of the curriculum — language arts, math, social studies, science, music and art — are conducted in Chinese. Little Tiger follows the traditional academic calendar and is located at our Hyde Park campus.
